Clinical Hypnotherapy

Without conscious thought or effort, our hearts beat and we inhale and exhale. These processes make up a small part of our autonomic system and occur at a sub-conscious level. In addition to this, our sub-conscious stores every experience we’ve ever had; both positive and negative, and causes us to be “programmed” to think, feel and behave in particular ways. Whilst much of this programming is helpful, some can hinder our wellbeing.

Clinical hypnotherapy is a therapeutic technique used to help people bypass their critical conscious mind in order to “speak directly to” their subconscious mind. In doing so, hypnotherapy helps you re-work the unhelpful elements of your “programming”. Essentially, clinical hypnotherapy helps people change dysfunctional patterns of being and relating.

Research has demonstrated the benefits of hypnotherapy in assisting people address a wide-range of personal difficulties. Our Clinical Hypnotherapist has undertaken extensive training in the use of this technique to assist people address;

- Smoking Cessation
- Anxiety and Phobias
- Migraine/Tension Headache
- Chronic Pain
- Weight loss
